Camp NMOA Scholarship Request Form

Thank you for your interest in Camp NMOA! We are committed to assisting as many families as possible with need-based, partial scholarships. To help us fairly distribute our limited funds, please complete the form and provide the requested materials. Partial scholarships will be awarded to cover the basic session fee(s) based on availability, with the remaining balance being the family’s responsibility.

Once your application is processed, we will contact you to inform you of the scholarship amount you have been granted. Scholarship recipients are asked to write a thank-you letter after camp. If you are unable to pay the full remaining balance, we offer flexible monthly payment options to assist with camp costs prior to the start of camp.

1. A letter explaining your request for financial assistance. The letter should include: A brief explanation of your current financial situation. Why you are applying for a scholarship. Any circumstances (e.g., job loss, medical expenses) impacting your ability to pay for camp. How receiving this scholarship would benefit your child(ren).

2. The two most recent pay stubs for each working parent/guardian or the applicant (if applicable).

Scholarship applications will be notified of their award status via email within 2 weeks of receiving request.

  • Once a partial scholarship is awarded, payments for camp must be paid in full by July 1 or a payment plan must be arranged.
  • Scholarships will only cover basic session fees, and a portion of the camp fee will remain the applicant's responsibility.
  • Confirmation of camper participation must be submitted via email once the scholarship is awarded. If you choose to withdraw your camper, a $50 cancellation fee will apply if the withdrawal occurs one week after the scholarship has been awarded. This fee helps cover the cost of holding the camper spot.
  • All information must be complete for acceptance.
