The Museum Shop is open to the public Thursday-Sunday, 10am–5pm. Our online shop is open 24/7.

Yes! PJ’s at the NMOA is open during Museum hours, Thursday – Sunday, 10am-5pm.

The Museum is offering virtual and in-person field trips.

Reservations are required for groups of 10 or more people.

We love your pets, but only service animals are allowed at the Museum.

Visitors to The Newark Museum of Art are permitted to take photographs in Museum galleries and the Ballantine House under certain conditions.

The Museum’s Library and Archives are currently closed to the public.

The Office of The Newark Museum of Art Registrar has high quality photographs of collection objects available for students and scholars to use for lecture, study, and publication.

To reproduce professional images, for further copyright information, or for permission to reproduce any works in the Museum’s collection, please email registrar@newarkmuseumart.org.

The American Alliance of Museums, as well as Museum policy, states that we are not allowed to offer appraisals or valuation on objects of art. Please visit the following directories to find an appraiser:
