Let’s celebrate Children’s Day!
This free day at the Museum is all about Brazil’s popular holiday Dia das Crianças or Children’s Day. Enjoy capoeira performances, storytelling, ballet dance, food, artmaking and much more.
Timeline of Performances:
12pm – DJ Rodrigo Costa starts the party
12:30pm – Performance by BATALÁ New York, Afro-Brazilian percussion ensemble
1:10pm – Capoeira Performance with Ile da Capoeira
1:45pm – Ballet performance by La Dance Performing Arts Academy
2:30pm – Tae Kwon Do demonstration with the Cultural Arts and Integration Association
3:10pm – Storytelling with Vivian Valim Vaz
3:45pm – Soccer demonstration with CCPRO Soccer
4:10pm – Pathfinders Survival skills demonstration
