Dive into a 30-minute journey with Newark’s own Janétza Miranda, blending Jazz, Soul, R&B, Bolero, Bomba y Plena, Hip Hop into a remixed sonic delight of vocalizations and rhythmic proclamations that transport you to a space that is suspended in time.

 

1:30pm | Zabelê performs Brazilian Pop jazz (Time: 30 min)

Experience the unique sound of Zabelê, the daughter of Brazilian music legends Baby do Brasil and Pepeu Gomes. Enjoy as she blends Brazilian rhythms with pop jazz for a captivating 30-minute performance, showcasing her rich musical heritage.

 

2:15pm | Newark School of the Arts: Choreography by Leslie Lucy (Time: 2 min)

2:30pm | BellaStar sings jazz + original (Time: 15 min)

3:15pm | The Antoinette Montague Experience    (Time: 60 min)
