In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to personalize your sneakers with creative flair in the style of artist Aminah Robinson. Utilizing a variety of materials, you’ll have a chance to give your shoes a whole new vibe—no experience needed, just bring your imagination (and your sneakers)!
This workshop is recommended for 13+. You must bring your own sneakers (leather or canvas preferred). All other supplies will be provided. Registration closes on December 22nd.
This workshop will be led by Libre’ Ojeda of Beloved Upcycle. Libre’ Ojeda is a style and maximalist expert with over a decade of experience in the fashion industry, where she honed her skills working with prestigious luxury brands such as Versace and Dolce & Gabbana. She has been thrifting clothing & furniture since she was in college. Her passion for thrifting and commitment to sustainability have shaped her unique approach to design, allowing her to cultivate a keen eye for high-quality vintage pieces, which she lovingly transforms through her venture, Beloved Upcycle.
