Have you ever wondered what a work of art is trying to say?

In this new take on member experiences, you will be guided in artful conversation by one of our expert docents to uncover what lies beneath the surface of some of the NMOA’s most beloved pieces of art.

This week, join Judi Robinson, a docent and volunteer of 12 years at the NMOA, as she guides you through the works of women artists to celebrate Women’s History Month. The conversation will begin with unrecorded women artists who created art not primarily for art’s sake, but out of tradition. Then, explore the work of early innovators and modern and contemporary women artists.
