A special in-gallery conversation exploring six luminous artworks from the Museum’s The Arts of Global Asia collection.

Spanning centuries, countries, and cultures, these objects reflect both enduring traditions and evolving narratives. They are imbued with auspicious symbols and ancient stories—set in idealized landscapes of mountains, gardens, and flowing waters inhabited by celestial beings and protective dragons.

We will also be examine the vision and voices behind compelling contemporary works. Revealing stark visual realities shaped by both human imagination and the forces of nature, they offer a powerful juxtaposition: the allure of material comfort alongside the urgent challenges of environmental endangerment.

Join us for an afternoon of timeless beauty and spiritual symbolism.
