Acclaimed documentary filmmaker D. Channsin Berry, born in Newark, NJ, will screen two episodes of his documentary series,

These screenings coincide with Rutgers University- Newark’s Black History celebration and serve as a lead-in to the 50th annual Newark Black Film Festival (July 10-14, 2024).

Featuring spoken word by Tyreek Rolon.

Following the screenings will be a panel discussion featuring D. Channsin Berry, Jean Pieree Brutus, Richard Cammareri, and Deborah Smith Gregory.
