Broadway in the Bricks Jr. is a kid-friendly series that introduces families to the magic of Broadway.
Local performers will sing, dance, and celebrate songs from the wonderful world of Disney. The show will feature scenes and songs inspired by musicals like Frozen, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and more.
Sing along and meet your favorite Disney characters! Come dressed up in costume for a chance to win a special prize.

Your concert ticket will give you free access to the Museum for a whole day of family-friendly programs, including MakerSpace, Planetarium shows, Creative Play (3-5 years old), and Family Drop-In (5-10 years old).
This program is organized by NMOA Visiting Curator of Performing Arts Daryl Stewart, a Newark-based theatre artist.
NMOA Summer Series is a partnership between The Newark Museum of Art & New Jersey Symphony.
Event Guidelines
- The Museum no longer requires proof of vaccination, negative COVID-19 tests, or temperature screenings.
- On-site parking is available for $10. Use Washington Street entrance by Central Avenue.
- Enter event through the Alice Ransom Dreyfuss Memorial Garden gate, located next to the Museum parking lot. Doors open at 9:15am. Show your digital or printed ticket to our Visitor Experience Assistant.
- Complimentary water and snacks will be available.
- Accessible restrooms are available inside the Museum through the South Wing entrance.
- No refunds or exchanges unless the event is canceled or postponed.
- In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved to the Billy Johnson Auditorium.
