Kicking off the 200th anniversary of Brazil-USA Cultural Affairs, this event will have you dancing and swaying all night long, while you sip and savor Brazilian delights. Bring your best moves and celebrate the rhythms and traditional beats of Brazilian Carnival in all its diversity and essence!

Timeline of performances:

  • 7pm | DJ Luciano Julusi spins Classics, Marchinha, and authentic Carnival music 
  • 7:45pm | Mambembé performs 
    Mambembé uses drums and the beats of samba reggae, to value, preserve, and expand Afro-Brazilian Percussive music. Based in NYC but with members from all over the world, they celebrate the multicultural makeup of this city.
  • 8:15pm | Dancer and performer Isabella Rio pays homage to iconic star Carmen Miranda and more! 
  • 9pm | André Neves performs Axé music
    With 25 years of experience André Neves has been performing in the United States for 10 years, presenting Brazilian cultural music to Americans and Brazilians living in the United States.
  • 10:15pm | Samba New York! takes the stage 
    Samba New York! is a world-renowned samba performance company dedicated to entertaining, educating, and uplifting people of all backgrounds with the exhilarating music and dance of Brazil. Rooted in such styles as Carnival samba, pagode, bossa nova, and capoeira.
