2-2:30pm: Book signing – Meet the authors and purchase a catalog at the NMOA Shop
In 2019, Saya Woolfalk began an artist residency at the NMOA, studying the Museum’s herbaria and American landscape holdings. The resulting exhibition Saya Woolfalk: Field Notes from the Empathic Universe and the intervention Saya Woolfalk: Tumbling into Landscape, both currently on view, engage with and disrupt these 19th century collections. The catalog, published by the NMOA in September 2022, captures the artist’s process and includes installation views, and a range of dynamic collaborations that extend beyond the Museum walls.
Locations: Main Building (Engelhard Court) and North Wing (Second Floor)
