A celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy, his teachings of social justice, and service to the community.

Featuring dynamic performances, hands-on activities, and opportunities to help others. There’s something for the whole family!

Visitors are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items to support a local food bank, women’s shelter, or church.

Partners will provide the following goods and information. Goods will be available on a first come, first served basis.

  • Jewish Federation of Greater Metro West: hats, socks, scarves and gloves
  • Newark Water Coalition: free water bottles and a demonstration of The Water Box treatment system
  • Isaiah House: information on community support programs to service those who need assistance at home
  • Jax Lake: mental wellness consultation sessions and a raffle of 60-minute sessions
  • St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center: cat and dogs goodie bags (food and toys)
  • United Community Corporation: free Covid vaccines and boosters and health outreach information
  • Sanford Angels LLC: free blood pressure monitoring
