Summer Fun!

Creative Play is a fun, hands-on program for children ages 2 – 5. Our museum educators lead little learners on small gallery adventures that spark imagination and inspire storytelling, followed by a simple craft that encourages creativity and play.

The sun shines bright and every day feels like an adventure waiting to happen.

We invite everyone to laugh, play, and enjoy the summer. Join us as we create fun, inspired artwork filled with color, and imagination!

School’s out for Summer!

June is full of sunshine, pools, & ponds! Let’s celebrate summer by making art inspired by the fun and nature surrounding us.

Ponds are full of life and hidden treasures! We’ll paint smooth stones inspired by pond water, plants, and animals, turning simple rocks into colorful creations inspired by nature. Appropriate for ages 5+

Chronicles in Cloth: Siddi Quilting | 1-4:30 pm

Contribute to our quilt! Make a drawing or write a story on a piece of fabric. This activity is part of Chronicles in Cloth: Siddi Quilting, an innovative installation and community project in collaboration with Siddi women quilters and artist Anitha Reddy.  The Siddi of Karnataka province in India are descendants of African migrants. Quilting has long existed as a home-based practice within the community. Now through a collaborative process with Reddy, it has become a platform for artistic expression. Appropriate for ages 5+
