12:30pm | Quiet is Kept Stage Play

The Newark Museum of Art Community Theater presents a stage play, Quiet is Kept, written, directed, and produced by Machelle Lassiter a proud Newark resident with over 25 years of thought-provoking messages in her productions. 

1pm & 3pm | Planetarium Show: Eclipse—The Sun Revealed

Appropriate for ages 12+

Journey through the historical and cultural views of eclipses, discover how they occur, how to safely view them, and first-hand accounts of these celestial events!

1-4pm | Science Drop-In: Cubelet Curiosity

Appropriate for ages 5-12 and families.
Location: Engelhard Court

Using modular robotic blocks, explore the different types of robots you can build. Are you up to the challenge?

1-4pm | Family Drop-In: Coiled Paper Bowls

Appropriate for ages 5-12 and families.
Location: Engelhard Court

Help us to recycle by combining different techniques to create a modular bowl.
