Enjoy a day of fun activities for the whole family at The Newark Museum of Art.

Timeline of Activities 

10am-5pm | MakerSPACE (for kids of all ages)
Mezzanine Level, South Wing

A fun interactive area where kids play, tinker, and create.

12-12:30pm |Legends of the Night Sky: Orion Planetarium Show (for families with kids 6+)

12-12:45pm | Creative Play: Lines (for kids ages 3-5)
Let’s explore the way lines connect, travel, and intertwine with each other. Join us as we explore art and creativity!

1-4pm | Family Drop-In: Monster Slime (for kids ages 5-10)
Create your own monster slime by adding mystery ingredients.

1pm & 1:30pm | The Empathics: Hybrid Cosmology  Planetarium Show (for families with kids 12+) Duration: 10 minutes

2-2:30pm | Legends of the Night Sky: Orion Planetarium Show (for families with kids 6+)

3-3:30pm | Experience the Aurora  Planetarium Show (for families with kids ages 12+)
