Timeline of Activities 

10am-5pm | MakerSPACE

Appropriate for kids of all ages.
A fun interactive area where kids play, tinker, and create (self-facilitated).

Noon & 2pm | Planetarium Show: Lucia, The Secret of Shooting Stars

Appropriate for ages 5-12. 
Travel to the Moon, the asteroid belt, and a comet nucleus with Vladimir, James, and Lucia as they search for answers to the mystery of the “stones of light”.

Noon-12:45pm | Creative Play: Shapes Around Us

Appropriate for ages 3-5.
Triangles, circles, and squares are all around us, like hidden treasures waiting to be discovered! Let’s go on an adventure and see where we can find these shapes in the Museum’s art

1pm & 3pm | Planetarium Show: Seven Wonders

Appropriate for ages 12+.
Explore seven of the ancient wonders of the world as they appeared thousands of years ago and embark on a voyage beyond Earth to explore wonders of our Universe.

1-4pm | Science Drop-In: Owl Pellet Dissection

Appropriate for ages 5-12 and families.
Explore owls and their environment through dissecting and studying sanitized owl pellets.  Owls are not harmed in the collection of owl pellets.  Potential allergy warning: Owl pellets contain animal fur and bones.

1-4pm | Family Drop-In: Mask Making – Materials Exploration

Appropriate for ages 5-12 and families.
Join us in a creative journey of material exploration and mixed media as we guide you in crafting your unique mask inspired by our very own Mahakala Mask!
