Join us for Camp NMOA’s Open House, where you can learn more about Camp NMOA, ask questions in person, receive assistance with registration, sample exciting activities, and feel more at ease about camp!
Plus, for those who sign up for a camp session during this event, enjoy one week of free camp after-care from 4pm to 4:45pm.
Creative Play | 12:15 pm
Creative Play is a fun, hands-on program for children ages 2 – 5. Our museum educators lead little learners on small gallery adventures that spark imagination and inspire storytelling, followed by a simple craft that encourages creativity and play.
Spring brings showers, sunshine, and the beautiful flowers of the season! Join us as we explore nature-inspired works of art and create our own colorful masterpieces!

Every season has its own special beauty, and April is full of warmer days, gardens of all types, and natural treasures!
Spring is a season of renewal, a time to reflect on gardens, growth, and nature. Join us for a hands-on maker workshop where we will create handmade paper with seeds embedded inside, designing “living quilts” you can take home and plant. Appropriate for ages 5+.
Chronicles in Cloth: Siddi Quilting | 1-4:30 pm
Contribute to our quilt! Make a drawing or write a story on a piece of fabric. This activity is part of Chronicles in Cloth: Siddi Quilting, an innovative installation and community project in collaboration with Siddi women quilters and artist Anitha Reddy. The Siddi of Karnataka province in India are descendants of African migrants. Quilting has long existed as a home-based practice within the community. Now through a collaborative process with Reddy, it has become a platform for artistic expression. Appropriate for ages 5+
